Storybook Cosmetics Wizardry and Witchcraft Eyeshadow Palette

Abracadabra! The best part of 2016 was when Storybook Cosmetics came to creation. From their Wizard Wand makeup brushes to their latest Wizardry and Witchcraft Eyeshadow Palette, they’ve been making my makeup dreams a reality and tbh I’ve been living for this brand! TRIPLETS joined together to create the company and I’m all about supporting honest small businesses. Not to mention this is high quality makeup y’all! PRAISE 🙌IMG_2372

Yup take this beauty all in. It’s gorgeous! The book packaging is out of this world. Talk about a homerun! Broomstick, Sorcerer, Cloak, Potions, Prophecy, Salem, Merlin, Bewitched, Calderon, Spellbook, Charms, and Jink have a formula that’s damn near perfection. The main ingredient is Talc and not Mica (hallelujah) aka not super powdery. 🙅

The mattes are buttery and blend so effortlessly. Broomstick is a rusty brown, Cloak is a graphite grey, and Charms is a shell pink. These are all gorgeous base colors that pair perfectly with the bolder shades. Cauldron is a charcoal black, a staple of any eyeshadow palette!

It’s such a versatile palette that it even includes some metallics! Sorcerer is ruby red, Potions is emerald green, Merlin is an amazing sapphire blue (my birthstone!), Bewitched is a stunning coppery gold (perfect for a brow bone highlight), and Jinx is a shimmering silver. You’ll want to spritz some setting spray to make these colors really pop 🍾

They have some shades that are considered pearls, which basically means that they aren’t as shimmery as the metallics, but just as flawless! Prophecy is a pearly white, Salem is a frosted brown, and Spell Book is a mahogany color (signature outer corner shade).

Below the mirror are the words “Magic is believing in yourself, if you can do that, you can make anything happen.” – Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe. Talk about makeup motivation. You can’t find this in Sephora or Ulta. Only directly from their site. I think that’s what makes this so special… ⚡IMG_2370
