Best Drugstore Makeup: For Yesterday, Today and Forever

If you’re a drugstore beauty junkie, it’s so easy to get a rush from buying good products especially when they don’t eat chunks out of your paycheck. Am I right? Like why shouldn’t I add a $3 contour powder to my basket? So I tell my boyfriend anyway 😉

Most of these are oldies, but goodies I can’t get myself to stop using. Gonna save you the hassle of those annoying slideshows that individually picture each product because no one has the time to be clicking arrow after arrow ❤

Physician’s Formula Butter Bronzer ($13.00) is gorgeous, tropical goodness. I will never get tired of the coconut scent. It has the perfect amount of glow for the days when I want to pretend I just got off the beach.

L’Oreal’s Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation ($12.99) is such a lightweight, breathable formula. My t-zone gets so oily and ever since Manny MUA recommended this, I’ve purchased two because it legit controls and locks in my oil.

Elf’s Contouring Powders in St. Lucia ($3.99) gives you the best affordable contour. We’ve all seen that it compares to NARS’ Laguna Bronzer and it’s so true. I still cannot find a better drugstore contour powder especially for the price. I keep going back to this one.

Milani’s Romantic Rose Blush ($8.50) is the best for date night. Not a fan of pink blushes, but this one is so subtle and creates a beautiful rose tint to the apples of your cheeks.

Milani’s Make It Last Setting Spray ($9.99) will easily lock in your makeup all day. I used this for a boat party with waves splashing in my face and got out with foundation untouched.  I just cannot look like a powdered donut from baking and setting so the mist finishes off my look and hydrates the face (not to mention the spritz is everything).

RCMA’s No Color Setting Powder ($12.00) is the most affordable option out there for me. I refuse to use Airspun because of the scent. Tried it once and it smells awful. You can buy RCMA on the Beautylish website, but well worth your $12 + shipping. Lasts so long!

Almay’s Liquid Liner ($7.99) is the only eyeliner I’ve used for the past 10 years. Idk what it is, but I’m a creature of habit and can’t seem to switch to anything else. They’ve changed the formula, which still doesn’t make sense to me but what do I know… Low key still mad about it 😂 But I still love it and it got me through those awkward experimental years in makeup.

L’Oreal’s Lash Paradise Mascara ($9.99) is my newest must have because it compares to Better Than Sex Mascara and it’s half the price. The wand covers every lash in 1-2 coats. A little goes a LONG way with this one!

If you spend 5 days a week at a desk or in a classroom, why waste that good Dior foundation? Save that glam for a night out! I always use affordable makeup during the week and noticed that wearing heavy foundations and too many products takes a toll on my pores. No thank you!
