New Years Eve Glam! A black lace top inspired this look, but I can definitely see this working with a black dress.
A quick step-by-step tutorial…
My routine for applying foundation is still with the Clarisonic Foundation Brush. I must say I’m a bit spoiled and now I’ve found that a beauty sponge takes much longer… LOL I do still use a Beauty Blender to pat in my foundation even more. I follow with concealer then my RCMA No Color Powder. By far the best setting powder and for $12, it’s a hit! Available online only, but so worth the wait. Beautylish.com even lets you do a payment plan when you spend more than $50.
For eyes, you can prime with concealer and set with the same setting powder. Place eyelash glue where you want the loose glitter to be. I’ve found that KISS Strip Lash Adhesive with Aloe, the brush version, makes it easy to apply with 100% accuracy. This way you can place the glue in specific areas. A tube would make it too difficult. Use a flat brush to gently set the glitter on top. Line with your favorite liner and mascara(s)! Brush away any excess glitter. It will easy wipe away in the places where there isn’t glue.
Finish with bronzer around the face then contour your nose, chin, cheekbones, forehead as much as you’d prefer. Use a narrow brush for a thin nose contour to avoid shading too much or contouring too low. Add highlight in spots where you want an extra pop (I used Nicole Guerriero’s Glow Kit) before putting a matte lip and topping with lipgloss for some added shine. Fill your brows and get ready to party! #HappyNewYear
