Review: Verb’s Ghost Collection – Just in Time for its 1st Birthday

While I was working on a project at work, the TV studio wanted us to partner with a local haircare partner for a morning beauty segment. After doing some research, I stumbled on Verb and realized their story started in Austin and is now based in New York!

It was so exciting to discover that such a well-known brand (who is changing the haircare scene) was created in the city I call home. Each product, aside from sets and kits, is $16. Considering it’s high quality, salon grade haircare, the price tag makes sense and is far less than other popular brands like Ouai and Living Proof.

The simplistic packaging is eye-catching and the concept of this collection is one-of-a-kind. Conveniently it’s Halloween season so the timing is just too good… every product in the Ghost collection is meant to make your hair feel weightless – ghost-like. It’s genius I tell ya!

I’ve been using these products since the line first launched so it’s been a solid year of me trying out each one and I think it’s safe to say I’m in love.

This post is not sponsored. Even though 2 products aren’t pictured, I have the entire line including Ghost Dry Oil and Ghost Hairspray. Another side note, the Shampoo and Conditioner comes in 3 sizes: 2.3oz for $8, 12oz for $16 and 32oz for $36.

I have yet to discover a line that makes my hair feel this good!

VERB Ghost Shampoo – Paired with the conditioner, it’s guaranteed to make your hair feel so much lighter as it weightlessly conditions your hair and leaves it tangle-free. Moringa Oil also helps give your hair the nutrients it needs to live its best life.

VERB Ghost Conditioner – Every shampoo needs a conditioner and this one pairs wonderfully with it! Smells amazing, is also infused with Moringa Oil and helps strengthen fine hair – although I have thick hair and LOVE it.

VERB Ghost Prep – Super helpful to have on hand when you’re styling your hair since this primes it to perfection. Protects your hair from heat while detangling and moisturizing.

VERB Ghost Oil – When I last checked, this was their best-selling product of the bunch and for good reason! It smells amazing and is better than any restorative oil I’ve ever tried. Apply from roots to ends if you’re looking to smooth frizz and get a healthy shine. Absolutely necessary in Texas when humidity doesn’t have an OFF button! Aside from the Shampoo and Conditioner duo, this one is my favorite of the set.

VERB Ghost Dry Oil – Texture wise, think of it as a dry shampoo. Results wise, it helps extend a blowout while conditioning ends, preventing damage and adding shine. Like all of the other products, it’s also formulated with gentle moringa oil.

VERB Ghost Hairspray – Last but not least… a medium hold hairspray for natural, workable styles. Again it has a nice scent and gives all-day control. I definitely find myself reaching for this and it’s currently the only hairspray I use.

Highly recommend every product depending on what you need & a BIG happy birthday to Verb’s Ghost Collection for giving thick hair like mine a solution that works! 🎂
