Worth the Hype? Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial

They say curiosity killed the cat…

1,215 reviews on Sephora and practically a 4.5 star rating had me curious. The positive comments on Instagram had me convinced.

I finally got myself to purchase the trial size version. After all, the Sephora sales rep said that if it didn’t work for me, I could always return it so I took it home and gave it a fair shot. I don’t think I had ever been so excited to try a product before. Drunk Elephant’s T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial had reached holy grail status among the skincare community and I wanted in!

For $28, you get a .5 fl oz of Babyfacial AND .1fl oz of Drunk Elephant’s Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil. It seemed like a no brainer since the two go hand in hand to make the perfect duo for any bedtime routine. Mind you, both got a LONG way. You’re only supposed to use the facial once per week and it’s now Week 3. You don’t need much of either to get the job done so it still feels brand new.

So the first night I tried it, I had no idea what to expect. I had skimmed the reviews, but only to get a general idea of the overall consensus. I wanted to form my own opinion so when I put it on, I was surprised to feel a tingling sensation but luckily I had came across one review that had the same experience so I knew it was pretty normal. It’s also noted on the bottle. Nothing painful, just a slight sensation that lasted a few minutes. If anything, it made me feel like it was getting the job done.

After 20 minutes, I rinsed the product off and immediately felt it. The baby soft and smooth skin. This post might seem dramatic, but I’m not kidding. My skin had never felt this smooth.

An even bigger testament is that I had just gotten over a cold so around my nose was skin that had been peeling from blowing my nose so much. It was all around my nose, like the aftermath of a bad sunburn but after using this stuff ONE time, the dry patches were completely gone. It really does take away all of the dead skin cells that you don’t even realize are building up. Not to mention my foundation has not applied more smoothly than it has these past 3 weeks – the pores in my t-zone are practically nonexistent at the moment.

I topped it off with the Marula Oil for the ultimate nightcap and truly felt that it perfectly complimented the facial. It’s just the product I needed to revive my skin from the cold weather that’s taking over Austin.

Highly recommend buying the trial size at the very least so you can see for yourself how amazing this product can be for your skin.
